Ruben opened Beach Club Barbershop after fifteen years at the chair in the heart of Manhattan, trained by an old Italian master in two things most barbers today skip: hand scissor work and the royal hot-towel shave. That's the difference you feel. A lot of shops can only run clippers and give everyone the same fade — here, the same steady hand does fades, classic cuts, long hair, beard work and a straight-razor finish.
His rule is simple: when the client's happy, he's happy. No ring lights, no spinning your chair around to film for Instagram — just the cut.

A men's scissor or clipper cut starts at from $45 and every price is posted before you sit down — no surprises at the register. For Hallandale Beach that's a fair, honest rate for a barber who actually cuts with scissors, not a rushed clipper-only fade.
How much should I tip a barber in Florida?
Most clients tip 15–20% when they're happy with the cut — so about $7–9 on a $45 cut. It's appreciated, never required. Great work is the goal; the tip is yours to decide.
